Osama bin Laden is speaking, again. Does anyone hear him? Do we care? We should. We should listen with all of our hearts, souls, and minds. This war on terror is not a war in any traditional sense of the word. It is a war of the spirit. Good versus evil on a global scale.

The Sheik keeps on talking as if they control all the cards. If we do not stop pandering to those who are afraid of hurting the feelings of the terrorists, we may soon find ourselves fighting these cowards on the streets outside our homes.

Listen. Be aware of the subtle messages and the direct confrontation these messages are hinting at. Let us be ever vigilante and discerning. If we continue going about things with the attitude that we may upset those who disagree with us, we will see things on our shores that even our best fiction writers cannot conceive.

Pray for our troops in the Middle East. Pray for our President and leaders of our great nation. Talk to your children about world events. I can assure you that the enemy talks to their children about us. The brave men and women of World War II have a valuable lesson for us in these troubled times. Sacrifice. Duty. Honor. Country. Patriotism is what we need now, patriotism like none of us have ever known. The same patriotism the founders of this nation had when they dared to defy the king and prepared for what they knew was a tough and troubled road to come.

Osama has spoken to us again. Are we listening?
